We will be offering a limited number of travel scholarships for Sustainability Summit attendees. We will give priority to newsrooms with the smallest operating budgets and those who bring representatives that can shape revenue, audience development and editorial strategy.

How much is each scholarship? Scholarships will be between $250 - $1,000 per individual.

How many scholarships will be awarded? We will try our best to deploy as many funds as possible, but the number of scholarships depends on the number of applications we receive.

When is the deadline to apply? The first deadline to apply is August 12.  A second review period will take place at the end of September. All scholarship recipients will be notified by October 1.

If I am awarded a scholarship, how will I receive the funds? LION Publishers will disburse scholarships by direct deposit using Bill.com or by check. Payments will be issued the week following the Summit, and will not be awarded if the intended recipient does not attend.

Do I have to register for a ticket before I apply for a scholarship? No, you can apply for a scholarship before purchasing your summit ticket. If you are selected for a scholarship, you must register for the conference within 72 hours of notification.

If you have already registered but are not selected for a scholarship and can no longer attend, we can issue a ticket refund. Please reach out to contact@sustainabilitysummit.news for assistance.
